Is It Ok To Post Your Kids On Social Media?

I’ll start by saying I think parents should do what they think is best for their children and their family. I don’t agree with a lot of parenting styles and I know that my parenting style is not for everyone so I try not to judge. Most parenting choices are led by a decision with your child’s interest in mind but does posting your kid on social media fall into that category?

I rarely posted photos of my daughter in her first year of life. It wasn’t until I had my second child that I really had no life outside of my family, and all I really had to share were photos and videos of my adorable tiny roommates. I’ve continued to post cute and funny videos but I always consider how they might feel about each post 10 years from now.

Will my son want his naked butt on his mom’s instagram account when he’s in middle school?  Probably not.

Mother-of-two and singer, P!nk has faced a lot of criticism on the Instagram posts of her children. She posted a (IMO) harmless photo of her diaper-less son earlier this year and trolls went as far as saying CPS should be called. Not cool. We all have to take into account that these posts (and the comments) will never disappear. Hear how P!nk has changed her perspective on posting her kids.
